* What are OUTCROSS KITTENS
Occaisionally a Toyger is bred with a different breed or a domestic. This is a deliberate and planned breeding designed to increase genetic diversity and/or to incorporate desirable traits into the Toyger breed.
The resulting offspring are referred to as "OUTCROSS KITTENS"
The first generation of outcross kittens (SBT Toyger x Other Breed) are registered as Toygers and will have the registration prefix code AON.
Second generation outcross kittens (SBT Toyger x AON Toyger) are registered as Toygers and will have the registration prefix code of BON.
Third generation outcross kittens (SBT Toyger x BON Toyger) are registered as Toygers and will have the registration prefix code of CON.
Fourth generation outcross kittens (SBT Toyger x CON Toyger) are registered as Toygers and will have the registration prefix code SBT.
SBT Toygers are purebred and eligable for show.
Why adopt an OUTCROSS KITTEN??
Outcross kittens will be glittered, have eye catching color and will have the extremely soft, velvety, plush coats that Toygers and Bengals are both famous for but their patterns will consist of a mix of stripes and spots.
They are raised and socialized exactly the same way we raise our Toyger kittens. They have the same inter-active personality, playful exuberance and intelligent behaviour that Toyger and Bengal owners enjoy.
They are as uniquely different from domestics in appearance and behaviour as the Toyger and Bengals but at a lower cost.
They are an excellent choice as a second kitten when adopting a Toyger or Bengal kitten when the total cost for two is a concern.
They are an excellent choice as a companion kitten for any purebred or domestic that needs a playmate!
